Warum bist Du/ist sie ein Digital Female Leader?

Having been working in the technology industry for the past 16 years and for Dell Technologies since 2007, Alexandra played a pivotal role in strategically driving the digital and business transformation of our largest enterprise customers around the globe within the Automotive, Insurance, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Pharmaceutical sector to ensure our customers not only keep pace with digital innovations to accelerate their own success but also achieve their IT goals of reducing operational costs and increasing resilience, security and agility.

Due to her passion for innovation and digitization, Alexandra established an Experience Lab for one of our automotive customers to make Autonomous Driving, its added value and business impact authentically visible and tangible. Additionally, Alexandra successfully contributed to our IoT go-to-market strategy and set up multiple strategic partnerships to join forces on helping our customers to transform their business and ensure market leadership by covering the entire Dell Technologies solution portfolio from the edge to the core to the cloud (such as Cloud Computing, AI, Workforce Transformation, Digital Workplace & (Cyber) Security).

Prior to maternity leave, Alexandra was our Senior Director Global Accounts Germany & Switzerland and Member of the German Management Board of Dell EMC and thereby our youngest female Senior Director in Germany. In her current role as Senior Director Sales Strategy EMEA, Alexandra is responsible for the transformational sales strategy across EMEA, setting up programs to support the entire sales force (over 26.000 employees), implementing new sales methodologies and establishing customer advisory boards for digitization.

Was Führung für mich/sie bedeutet

In a constantly changing technology environment, itメs important to keep pace, stay focused and deal with various demands on a professional and personal level. Especially as a working mom, Alexandra needs to effectively balance her work and family life and she is convinced that technology holds an unlimited potential and is a key enabler for her development and success.

Over the years, Alexandra has learned that digital transformation is not only about technology, but rather about strategy, culture, creating diverse and inclusive teams and understanding the customerメs needs. Alexandra takes leadership above and beyond and due to her passion for diversity and her gratitude to her mentors, who constantly supported her during her career, she actively engages in closing the gender imbalance within the IT industry by developing (female) development programs and mentoring female talents on different career levels. At Dell Technologies she is recognized as diversity role model since she also functions as keynote speaker at several events (e.g. Dell Technologies Forum) and was our first Senior Director who achieved a 50/50 gender balance in her Sales Business Unit which is part of our Progress Made Real Strategy 2030.

Besides driving strategic conversations about digitization with our largest customers, Alexandra is a truly energetic Digital Female Leader, who takes on every challenge and leads her teams through change in an exemplary manner. Leading by example is one of her core values. Meaning: Creating a culture in which empowerment, development, responsibility, freedom and personal and digital innovations count.
